We’re a husband-and-wife team with a background in design and a shared love for unique, well-made objects. Inspired by an old cocktail napkin we stumbled upon years ago, the Tabu Shop was born. We started this concept in 2018 and after a long hiatus, we are back with a collection of unique ceramics. Hand formed sculptural wall vessels, all shaped and glazed by hand. No two are ever exactly alike, which is part of the magic.

TABU Vintage

All of our vintage items are sourced second-hand, so gentle signs of age or wear are part of their story. We do our best to photograph and describe each piece clearly, but if you’d like a closer look or have questions about condition, feel free to reach out.

TABU CERAMICS

Every ceramic piece is hand-shaped and hand-glazed, giving each one its own character. Small variations make each one special. If you’re curious about a specific item, or if an item you love is marked as sold, feel free to reach out. Custom orders are welcome and typically take 6—8 weeks.

Shipping

Orders are processed within one to three business days and shipped via UPS . At this time we ship within the U.S. only. Please note that we’re not responsible for items that are damaged, lost, or stolen during transit, but we’ll always do what we can to support you if an issue arises.

Returns

We are a small business and are unable to accept returns or exchanges at this time. Items are sold as-is and are final sale, for this reason we include further details and measurements to assist in your decision making. Reach out if you have any questions about a specific item.
